The Axle Barbell is heavy duty and is made so the lifter can add weight easily. It was made at 65 lbs just in case the lifter may want to load it to 366 lbs (Appolon's Wheels weight) by adding 150 lbs and 1/2 lb collars to each side. Even though the grip feels good It is made with no knurling qualifying it as record setting bar in the Axle Clean and Press among other exercises.
